How do I get started working with LJR Accounting?
Simply click the 'Get Started' button at the top of the website, answer a few questions, and we'll contact you ASAP.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We don't believe in long-term contracts. You shouldn't have to pay for something you do not want or will not be using. Once we assess your situation and needs, we'll send over a services agreement which will outline all of the terms, services offered, pricing, etc. Don't worry there isn't any fine print and we'll walk you through the agreement line by line.
Can I cancel the monthly services at any time?
Yes. Simply email us and let us know. We don't expect you'll want to, but sometimes it is necessary.
Is LJR Accounting a registered accounting firm?
Yes. We are registered/have an active license with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Does LJR Accounting offer tax planning and tax preparation services?
Yes. However, at this time we only offer these services to our existing business clients.
How long will it take to clean up my books?
This depends a lot on how far back the cleanup needs to go, how complex the business is, and how much assistance is being provided.
What happens after I reach out to LJR Accounting?
We will contact you ASAP and schedule a free consultation to begin the Discovery stage of our process. In this stage we'll meet with you to discuss your organization's history, the vision of the organization, business processes and model, etc. Following the Discovery stage we will enter the Review stage. This is where we review your books/accounting records to understand your transaction volumes and complexities. When we complete the Review stage we will send over a Proposal in the form of a services agreement. This is where we'll outline services provided, pricing, etc. Once we've reviewed together and you've signed work will begin!
How long does it take to get started with LJR Accounting?
The Discovery > Review > Proposal stages typically take anywhere from a few days to 1-2 weeks. This is primarily driven by the potential client's responsiveness to questions.
How much does it cost?
For smaller organizations, pricing can range from $200/month to $1,500/month for bookkeeping services depending on the needs and complexities of the organizations accounting. At times things can get highly complex which would cause the price to exceed $1,500/month; this is rare. Payroll is dependent upon the number of employees and pay cycles. Reporting and tax preparation services are also dependent upon the reports needed, and the business legal entity structure.
